About

As a kid, I had an uncanny knack for spotting four-leaf clovers in a patch of grass. It wasn’t a particularly useful skill, and almost no one was impressed—but I liked doing it. Kind of like playing in all those punk and hardcore bands later on. I’m not sure how either relates to creativity or advertising, but at the very least, I have a keen eye for detail and musical taste that most people find repellent.

That ability—to scan a sea of sameness and find what’s unique, overlooked, or underappreciated—has been the skill I’ve leaned on most in my career.

Whether it’s showing a bank in a more human light, a legacy tech company empowering people in unexpected ways, or cleverly calling out politicians for being in the NRA’s pocket, I believe in creativity as a tool to solve problems—for both businesses and the world. Any medium is fair game, as long as what we’re communicating is undeniable.

I live with my family in Brooklyn, NY. There aren’t as many patches of grass here, but I’m still pretty good at finding four-leaf clovers.
